Hyrums Chicken Cacciatore

Another recipe from my Grandpa's kitchen! I find this recipe makes me salivate like no other! It's delicious and I never get tired of it! I crave the leftovers!










Poppy's Chicken Cacciatore

Chicken Boneless Breasts

Medium onions (minced)

Cloves of garlic (minced)

Lb
Can tomatoes (diced)

Can tomato sauce
1/3
Cup
Green pepper (minced)

Tsp
Salt

Tsp
Oregano
1/2
Tsp
Basil
1/2
Tsp
Celery Salt
1/4
Tsp
Pepper
1

Bay leaf


Egg Noodles
Parmesan Cheese
Combine in crock-pot. Cook for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours. Remove bay leaf before serving. Serve hot over rice or egg noodles. Top with parmesan cheese.
*Crushed red pepper optional

  1. yes, great food memories with this recipe. :) glad to have you document it. i don't think i've ever independantly made it. must correct that.

    *a note on the bay leaf in recipes: sometimes i like to leave it in because n8 inevitably gets it and bites into it and it's such a GREAT LAUGH!
